Veredusブーツは、通常、3つの異なるサイズで利用できます：S、M、およびL。
適切なサイズを選択するには、フロントキャノンの骨の円周を測定する必要があります。巻尺を取り、強化しすぎずに大砲の骨の中央に巻き付けてから、測定します。
- 測定値が17〜20センチ（6.5〜9インチ）の場合、ブーツの適切なサイズはSです。
- 測定値が20〜23センチ（9〜10インチ）の場合、サイズはMです。
- 23 cm（10インチ以上）を超えるサイズはLです。
後肢の保護を購入している場合でも、通常、測定は前肢で行われます。実際、前足と後ろの脚の間に、さまざまなサイズのブーツを必要とするような違いがあることは非常にまれです。
注：多くの人は、保護がcar（膝）までさえ深い屈筋腱全体を覆わなければならないと考えています。外傷に最もさらされている腱の部分が最低であるだけでなく、高すぎる保護は、特にジャンプ中に曲がるときに腱を悩ませるだけです。
